Shabaz earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas A&M University in 2006. He earned his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2011.
Right out of law school, Shabaz went on to work as a Plaintiffs Attorney for a mid-size firm in Dallas, Texas, where he represented individuals in personal injury litigation. Thereafter, he switched to the other side and went on to work as an in-house attorney for an insurance company where he represented individuals and the insurance company from personal injury claims in litigation. Before joining Clerkin, Sinclair and Mahfouz LLP, Shabaz worked as a General Counsel for a local start up company.
Shabaz's background in representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants brings with him a unique experience in representing clients at mediation and at trial.
