Sofia Garza is an attorney whose practice focuses on civil litigation and insurance-related matters. She earned her Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Austin and her Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Sofia is licensed to practice law in Texas and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

While attending law school, Sofia interned with an immigration law firm, where she assisted clients with adjustment of status applications and contributed to appellate matters through legal research and brief drafting. These experiences helped develop her legal writing, advocacy, and client-relations skills.

After becoming licensed in 2024, Sofia began her legal career with a mid-sized personal injury firm with offices throughout Texas. There, she represented injured individuals in matters involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, dog bites, trucking accidents, and other negligence-based claims.

In 2025, Sofia joined Clerkin, Sinclair & Mahfouz, LLP.

Sofia is fluent in English and Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, traveling, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with her dog.
